TaBARnacolo is a souvenir for the city of Rome designed for Fab-iter, a winning project of the competition Vitamina G by Regione Lazio.
Inspired by the tabernacle, the Eucharist container located behind the church’s main altar, the TaBARnacolo is a small cocktail cabinet designed to be hung on your house wall. Sometimes the tabernacle is covered by a cloth, which refers to the Jerusalem temple. This particular symbolic element acted as an inspiration for the artisan Stefano Marolla’s precious contribution. Indeed he designed and hand-created through his unique technique the doors of the cabinet.
